Nairobi is a city thriving with eclectic places for Sunday Brunch guaranteed to please. Whether in the mood for somewhere quiet to relax alone or a place rustic and bustling to entertain company, Nairobi has something to offer.

Here is a list of ten of many worthy destinations in Nairobi for your Sunday Brunch.

1. Wasp + Sprout

Wasp + Sprout is cool and industrial peppered with Kenyan art, local furniture and African prints. Whether in the mood for savory or sweet, you’ll be able to find your item on the menu.

Located: Old Loresho Shopping Centre, Loresho Rd, Nairobi

What’s offered: The menu includes coffees, teas, and specialty brunch drinks like Bloody Mary, sangria and mimosas. Also available, variations on eggs benedict, quiche and salad, and restaurant specialties like ricotta pancakes, deconstructed parfait, and the sprout omelette. With an organic food product store next door, there’s no reason not to stop by.

Price: Drinks average anywhere from 120 to 600 ksh while food goes between 400 and 990 ksh.

About Thyme has an imaginative menu of dishes from around the world. In a secluded area of Westlands, dining can be enjoyed in a peaceful setting.

Located: Eldama Ravine Rd.

What’s offered: Thyme also includes a wide range of vegetarian dishes. Aside from cocktails and omelettes, the About Thyme menu includes crepes, pancakes, and their signature About Thyme Big Breakfast Fry Up comprised of items like fried eggs, bacon, Irish potato cake and rustic toast.  

Price: Drinks 700 – 900 ksh, food 600 – 1,350 ksh

7. The Lord Erroll

Being that Erroll is located in Runda, most may expect that prices are unaffordable. Surprisingly, this gourmet restaurant is relatively friendly to the wallet.

What’s offered: roast beef with caramelized onions, chargrilled beef on a potato bun with mayonnaise and Bloody Mary ketchup, and grilled halloumi, avocado, black olive, red pepper and tomato.

    Need to add Nyama Mama Westlands! And Talisman in Karen
