7 Ways To Sneak Peanut Butter in Your Breakfast

Breakfast is the most important meal of the day and it should be interesting, healthy and give us the necessary energy we need to attack the day. These easy and creative peanut butter inspired recipes will give you energy, boost your happiness and get you ready for the day.

 

 

1. Oatmeal With Bananas and Peanut Butter

Ingredients: Water, sliced bananas, honey, boiled oats and peanut butter.

Serve your oats by adding and mixing BlueBand peanut butter, almonds, bananas, honey or milk.

 

 

2. Peanut Butter Milkshake

Ingredients: Milk, Ground flaxseed, Cinnamon, and 2 tablespoons of peanut butter.

Combine all the ingredients in a blender and blend to your desired consistency.

 

 

3. Peanut – Broccoli Salad

Ingredients: Raisins, cherries or cranberries, broccoli, cut into small florets with stems chopped and peeled, white wine vinegar, roasted peanuts, canola oil, and peanut butter.

Mix BlueBand peanut butter, soy sauce, 1tsp salt and vinegar oil in a large bowl. Toss the mixture with broccoli, salt, dried fruit and season to taste. Top your healthy breakfast with roasted peanuts.

 

P.S: You can forego salt if you use soy sauce, to prevent the salad from becoming too salty.

 

 

4. Banana – Peanut Butter Waffles

Ingredients: Sliced bananas, 8 frozen waffles or pancakes and peanut butter.

Heat the oven to 400 ºF.

Spread 1tbsp of BlueBand peanut butter over each waffle, followed by sliced bananas, then top with remaining waffles. With the oven rack in the centre position, place the waffles on the baking sheet for about 8 minutes. Serve accordingly.

 

 

5. Spicy Peanut Dip

Ingredients: 3 tbsp apple juice or mango nectar, ¼ cup fresh lime juice, 2 minced garlic cloves, ⅓ cup peanut butter, 2 fresh peppers, chopped or seeded.

Combine all the ingredients in a blender and puree until smooth. Serve with potato wedges.

 

 

6. Peanut Butter, Honey and Raisin Bagel

Ingredients:  2 tsp honey, 1 Tbsp raisins, 1 split and toasted bread

Spread a tbsp of Blueband peanut butter over each cut side of the bagel half. Drizzle a tsp honey over each half and top with raisins.

 

 

7. Peanut Butter Banana Split Sundae

Ingredients: ¼ cup peanut butter, 4 medium-sized banana, halved, ¼ cup roasted salted peanuts, 1 pint frozen yoghurt, ¼ cup sweet chocolate chips.

 

Combine BlueBand peanut butter, vanilla extract, chocolate chips and 2 Tbsp water in a microwaveable bowl and cover. Microwave for 30 seconds then stir. Repeat the process until the mixture is smooth. Divide banana among four bowls and top with even scoops of frozen yoghurt. Drizzle with sauce and sprinkle with peanuts
