Child Friendly Nairobi Malls Mums will Love and Adore

Malls  are great avenues for entertaining  children in terms of playing, socialising, shopping and enjoying the outdoors and other fun activities that malls put together. We have rounded up Nairobi malls that are child friendly and have entertainment centres for your little ones.

  1. The Hub Karen

Funscapes at The Hub, Karen.

This mall has everything under one roof! Eateries, Clothes shops, book shops, and a Bar Juice.

To occupy your kids as you shop, try the miniature amusement park by Funscape that  has different activities . The activities range from  obstacle crossing, climbing, sliding, try their Bumper Cars and the Ultra flight rides or sign up for classes such as Karate.

The different games start from as low as KSH 1,000.

 

  1. Village Market.

If you’re looking to buy souvenirs this is the place. They host Maasai Market every Friday. As the name suggests, the setting is open-air and very unique.

You can find a kids play area on the 4th floor and a bowling alley on the 2nd floor.

 

  1. Garden City

It  has over a 100 stores, offering different wares and many options to choose from. Options include fashion outlets, food outlets, Century IMAX, dry cleaning, mobile electronics stores, toy stores and banking services.

Garden City Mall has Maasai market every Thursday, parking is free for the first hour and then KSH 50 an hour after that and Jazz music every Friday evening.

In addition, Garden City mall has a water park to boost leisure activities and a children’s playground.

Two Rivers Mall is a big mall with modern interior décor and 150 shop options for mums to choose from. For kids, there are gaming options at Two Rivers, 9 hi-tide water slides, a 12 lane bowling alley, Nu-Metro Cinema Mall,  and of course Maasai Market.

Thika Road mall has over 100 options to choose from in terms of food, entertainment, clothes and shoes.Moreover, it’s very accessible and parking charges are also Kshs 50.

For kids and entertainment options, Funscapes provides their miniature slides and there is Free Kids entertainment at the convention centre.

   6. Nextgen Mall

Located along the Mombasa road and Eastern Bypass interchange, Nextgen mall offers a variety of services to people coming from Langata, City Centre, Mombasa Road and Industrial area.The mall hosts clothing, dining, electronic stores and banking options.

Fun activities at the mall include a live band, 12D Cinema, cup cake decorating, bouncing castles, and face painting.

   7. Westgate Mall

It’s Located in Westlands along Mwanzi road and houses over 80 stores open from 9:00 am to 8:00pm.
