Sauti Sol’s New Album is Out
Sauti Sol, Kenya’s number one boy-band , released their third album : Live And Die In Afrika on Nov. 17, 2015.
In 24 hours, the video of their cover track Live And Die In Afrika, had more than 20,000 YouTube hits. We could attribute this to the fact that they are winners of the Best African Group and Producer of the Year (Sura Yako) at AFRIMA awards in Nigeria. Or we could just applaud them for having great vocals and catchy lyrics.
The album release was more like a proclamation of an African answer to the American dream. This is based on the iconic fashion and style. Have you had a glimpse of the album cover? The cover was shot at African Heritage House and was produced by renowned celebrity stylist Annabel Onyango.
Before the actual album cover photo was released, Sauti Sol teased their fans by posting a series of blurred photos. Each new photo being less blurred than the previous. This was the trend until the clear ultimate cover photo was released. Thereafter, the cover track-list was released.
