Jamie Oliver’s Food Revolution in Kenya Roundup
This year, Kenya was represented in Jamie Oliver‘s food revolution which took place on 20th May, 2016. Chef Ali L’artiste was our champion and he did us proud for sure.
Chef Ali set up camp at Makini Preparatory School to show the kids how to make simple, healthy meals from scratch. His dishes of choice included arrowroots in coconut sauce and chicken mshikaki, two dishes that are bound to be a hit with the entire family.
Juliani, the award wining gospel artist was in attendance to assist Chef Ali prepare the sumptuous meals. Avril, the sultry songstress also joined them to lend a hand. The presence of these two beautiful souls definitely made the kids smile more brightly despite the dull weather.
The recipes that Chef Ali chose were simple and took only 30 minutes to prepare from start to finish.
The end result? Happy kids who were pumped about taking part in the #FoodRevolution.
