In the absence of Tahini (sesame seed paste), I made a tahini-less chilli avocado hummus using the ingredients below. Hummus is originally a delicious Middle-Eastern treat made into a paste or dip that can be enjoyed with a variety of snacks, added into a sandwich or slathered onto some nice crunchy toast.
I’m not into measuring ingredients, so I just pop things in the food processor and when it tastes good, I serve. Try it and comment below to let us know your results.
Enjoy!
- 1 can of chick peas, rinsed
- 1 Avocado
- Garlic
- Scotch bonnet chilli
- Olive oil
- Salt and pepper to taste
