2. St. Scholastica Catholic School
St. Scholastica offers the 8-4-4 system of education in the primary level and uses the Montessori system at Kindergarten level. This Catholic school’s performance is consistent, evident in the Kenya National Exams.
Scholastica offers a Eucharistic celebration Wednesdays and Sundays for resident pupils and every first monthly Friday for the general school community. Weekly Catechism and PPI classes are offered in addition to organized pupil and parent seminars.

3. Cornerstone Academy
This academy is founded on the philosophy that knowledge is power. Cornerstone is an affiliate of Deliverance Church Kasarani and has grown to be among the top 50 best schools in the country in a period of 12 years.
Cornerstone has modern luxury buses offering transport to students from their homes to school and back at an affordable cost. The academy also offers computer classes to all students at a small fee. Play class is available to children 2 to 3 years and five months. A well balanced meal is offered as lunch to students.

4. Ruaraka Academy
Ruaraka Academy is a mixed private day school designed around the Kenyan Education system and the newly introduced 2.6.6.3 system. The academy is passionate and committed to being a community that honors and glorifies Christ.

5. Thika Road Christian School
Thika Road Christian School offers a safe and friendly setting situated in Kasarani Sub-County, along the Thika Road Superhighway.
Textbooks have been carefully selected to provide a comprehensive learning experience. English, Reading and Science are supplemented by textbooks from a Christian publisher. Bible is taught each day. Students sit for the KCPE exams at the end of Standard 8.
Thika holds the belief that students are not progressing properly unless they develop academically, physically, spiritually and socially.
Nursery tuition for 3 year olds and 4 year olds comes to 12,000 and 14,000 ksh respectively. Pre-Unit costs 14,000 ksh. Standards 1 through 4 comes to 26,000 ksh while standards 5 through 8 comes to 28,000 ksh. Roundtrip transportation costs approximately 9,000 ksh while return only transportation costs 5,000 ksh.

7. City Primary School Pre-Unit
Located Opposite New Ngara Stage, Murang’a Rd, Nairobi. City Primary is a public, mixed school.
8. Braeburn Imani International School
Braeburn emphasizes English and math during year 1 in addition to science, computing, music and personal social health and economics (PSHE).
In year 2 French is added with weekly library sessions, reading and writing. There are three groups, split between four teachers: Accelerated, Core (two groups) and foundation.

9. Bright Hill Special School and Assessment Center
Bright Hill opened in September of 2001 and is a day and boarding school. The school is located along Thika superhighway in Nairobi County. The 8-4-4 education system caters to children with learning difficulties, visual impairment, neurological impairment, and emotional and behavior disorders.
Also offered: occupational and physiotherapy services, vocational training, computer studies and weaving.
