Tinker Education is STEM education driven by Computer Science (coding) to develop your child’s 21st century skills.  We are excited to announce our fun and upgraded courses for 2018!

For STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering, Mathematics) & coding classes:

 MORNING CLASSES  (9-11am), every Saturday (Jan.13- March 31)

  1. Life Science with Experiments
  • Ages 5-7
  • Students will learn:
  • Basic principles of science
  • Do easy and fun experiments to understand phenomena that occurs in their daily lives

  1. Game Programming
  • Ages 8-10
  • Students will learn:
  • Basic science and coding principles behind a game
  • Create their own game based on their understanding

  1. Programming IoT
  • Ages 10 & above
  • Students will learn:
  • Coding fundamentals with an electronic platform called Arduino
  • Make projects using Arduino

 AFTERNOON CLASSES  (1-3pm), every Saturday (Jan.13-March 31)

  1. Basic Coding
  • Ages 5-7
  • Students will learn:
  • Fundamentals of coding
  • Make their own projects with a coding program for young children called Scratch Jr.

  1. Intensive Coding
  • Ages 8-10
  • Students will learn:
  • Basic coding concepts
  • Make their own projects with a coding program called Scratch

  1. Programming IoT
  • Ages 10 & above
  • Students will learn:
  • Principles of coding
  • Make their own inventions with Arduino

We also provide IGCSE Math & Process Art classes starting from February.

 IGCSE MATH CLASSES (2 times per week, 1.5 hours each)

  1. IGCSE Math for Primary 1
  • Age: 5
  • TuesdayThursday mornings 10-11:30am
  • Students will learn:
  • Primary mathematics taught in small classroom sizes for one-on-one interaction with the teacher to accelerate learning

  1. IGCSE Math for Year 11
  • Ages 14-15
  • TuesdayThursday 4:00-5:30pm
  • For students who want homework supervision, to better their grades, and prepare for IGCSE examinations

PROCESS ART CLASS (1 time per week, 3 hours)

  • Ages 3-5
  • Wednesdayor Thursday mornings, 9am-12pm
  • Kids will engage in art activities to cultivate creativity and hands-on exploration
  • Kids will stimulate their language development through reading, talking, and asking questions during a story time and phonics session to build vocabulary
