How do people in Step-families Cope?

I sometimes wonder how blended families – step family situations – get through those initial tense moments. I know I struggled back in the day. I was so eager to move out as soon as I could to get the heck outta there. Then when I watch shows or videos of how such families are happy and enjoying their lives, I’m just astounded. Like the new Red Table show with Jada Pinkett Smith. Seen it? Check it out on Facebook. But I guess it works for some but doesn’t for others, right? Right! Oh well…I adjusted the older I got.
