Some people who had no shoes have been known to complain until they found someone who had no feet. E.C. Mckenzie
Grab those boobies ladies, because this month is Breast Cancer Awareness month! So pull that top off, fling your bra to the floor and follow the instructions below. Why? Because 40% of diagnosed breast cancers are detected by women who feel a lump (Johns Hopkins Medical Centre). And? More than 90% of women diagnosed with breast cancer at the earliest stage survive the disease (Cancer Research UK).
Women are encouraged to perform a self-exam at least once a month.
This month, you should also take the time to schedule an appointment at your nearest clinic for a Mammogram. A Mammogram is basically an x-ray of the breast to look for abnormalities. Mammograms can detect tumors even before they can be felt through a breast exam, which makes them vital for early detection and treatment.
Breast Cancer Awareness is a cause that’s very dear to my heart. When I was 11 years old I lost my mom to breast cancer. To say that it was rough is an understatement.
